The other is genuine 4D carbon-textured armrests — height, forward and back, swivel and inward-outward angle. Most chairs in this price bracket offer 3D at best.

Materials are the hybrid approach that suits Indian summers: PU leather on the outer panels with breathable spandex where your body actually contacts the chair. Velour neck pillow, memory foam lumbar, Class 4 gas lift, heavy-duty metal base, 60mm dual casters, seat height adjustable from 49 to 57 cm and an 88 cm backrest.

One inconsistency worth flagging: weight capacity is listed as 135 kg in Green Soul’s own manual, but some retailer listings claim 150 kg. Treat 135 kg as the reliable figure.

The newest chair here and the most thoughtfully detailed. Where the Monster is Green Soul’s gaming flagship, the Vision Pro V2 reads like a chair designed by someone who sits in one for eight hours a day.

Three details give that away. The neck and lumbar pillows are magnetic — they snap into position rather than fighting elastic straps that slide down your back by mid-afternoon. The 4D armrests use a metal core with a soft PU top, which matters because armrest mechanisms are among the first things to develop wobble on cheaper chairs. And the flat wheelbase is a modern, low-profile design that is harder to catch your foot on than a traditional raised star base.

Owner feedback consistently praises the firmness of the seat. One buyer specifically notes it feels far better over long hours than overly soft chairs that sink over time — and this is the real ergonomic argument. Soft foam feels wonderful for twenty minutes and offers nothing at hour four. Firm foam is the correct choice for a work chair.

Available in leatherette or breathable fabric; the fabric version is the better pick for hot climates. Full 180° recline, 30° rocking, retractable legrest, three-year warranty and free installation, though several owners report self-assembly being straightforward.

The quiet standout of the range, and the chair I would point most people toward if they fall in the regular size band.

The Glance gives you 4D armrests — the same dimension count as the flagship Monster Ultimate T — on a Class 4 gas lift and a heavy-duty metal base, at a considerably lower price. Everything below it in this list drops to 3D or less. Given that armrest adjustability is one of the two things that actually protects your shoulders over a long session, that is a meaningful advantage.

The upholstery decision is smart too: a softer seat base for cushioning and a firmer backrest for support. That is the correct way round, and it is a more considered choice than simply padding everything equally.

Butterfly mechanism handles 90° to 180° recline with a 15° rocking range, 360° swivel, 60mm dual castor wheels, metal internal frame, BIFMA-certified components, and a 3-year on-site warranty — on-site being the useful word, since it means a technician comes to you.

Fiction and Inspire are colourway variants rather than different chairs, so pick on looks alone.

If your setup is on camera, this is the chair. The Ghost RGB pairs soft matte leatherette and ultra-fine diamond stitching with a mesh RGB lighting system built into the chair itself — and owner sentiment on appearance is close to unanimous, running roughly 32 positive to 1 negative across comments about looks.

Importantly, the ergonomics are not an afterthought. PU-padded 4D armrests, an adjustable lumbar pillow, a detachable headrest, an integrated retractable legrest, butterfly mechanism to a full 180°, a BIFMA-certified Class 4 gas lift and a heavy-duty metal wheelbase with 60mm PU-and-metal dual castors. Two honest criticisms surface repeatedly. Airflow is limited — one owner notes that if you sweat a lot, the leatherette does not breathe well, which in an Indian summer without air conditioning is a real consideration. And a review on Green Soul’s own site mentions stability issues, though this sits against broadly positive durability feedback.

The Beast is the answer to the complaint that runs through every PU leather chair on this page: heat. It uses breathable fabric across the contact areas with PU leather on the bolsters and trim, and in a room without air conditioning through April to June, that single material decision will matter more to you than armrest dimensions.

The armrests are 3D rather than 4D, but Green Soul made them noticeably wider and thicker than standard — which for forearm support during long sessions is a reasonable trade against the missing fourth axis. Butterfly mechanism, 90° to 180° recline with easy position lock, metal internal frame, adjustable and fully removable lumbar pillow, and BIFMA-certified components.

Assembly is quoted at around 60 minutes with all tools included, though free installation is offered.

One inconsistency to note: the Amazon title says “Strong Nylon Base” while the same listing’s description mentions a heavy-duty metal base. Green Soul’s own listings contradict each other here, so if base material matters to you, ask before ordering.

The Blade is the range outlier: the most feature-dense chair Green Soul makes, and the only one with a one-year warranty instead of three.

What you get for that is an integrated lumbar massager, a retractable footrest, a memory foam winged back, a detachable cushioned headrest, a Class 4 gas lift, 60mm wheels and ErgoSync armrests that move in sync with the recline so your elbows stay supported at every angle. That last feature is genuinely valuable and appears on only a handful of chairs at any price.

The standout spec, though, is the 21.5-inch seat width. Most gaming chairs use narrow racing bolsters that press into your thighs the moment you sit cross-legged — which, in a great many Indian homes, is how people actually sit. A wide flat platform accommodates that properly, and it is more useful day to day than any amount of stitching detail.

Two problems. Recline is listed as 135° on some pages and 160° on others; either way there is no flat 180°. And that one-year warranty, on a chair containing a powered massager and a footrest mechanism, is where the low price is actually coming from.

The entry point into Green Soul’s racing line, and a perfectly reasonable first gaming chair — provided you understand what has been left out to hit the price.

You still get a Class 4 gas lift, which is the highest common safety rating and genuinely reassuring at this level, plus 3D adjustable PU-padded armrests, 60mm castors, published fit data and the full three-year warranty. Upholstery is PU with a 0.7 PVC leather finish in the classic racing bolster shape.

The compromise is the base. Where the Glance, Beast and Monster use metal, the Raptor 2.0 uses nylon with nylon wheels. Nylon bases are perfectly safe within their rated capacity, but they flex more under load — particularly when you recline fully and shift your centre of mass behind the base. If you plan to spend a lot of time leaned right back, that flex is noticeable.

If your budget stretches, the Raptor Pro adds a USB lumbar massager and a retractable legrest on the same platform. If it does not, this is honest value.
